Scandanavian marked 830 for silver; the Norwegian “830S” mark came into use in the early 1890s.
Marked for Marius Hammer, (1847-1927). Hammer took over his family’s silver business in the 1870s-80s. A large shop, it produced everything from souvenir items to royal commissions. It is believed they closed down shortly after his death.
