This magnificent copy of early 18th century gem displays the true skills of the original maker and of our own talented cabinetmaker. It stood in an important home of the time.
Of English oak, all drawers are cross banded with burr oak. The cupboard doors are decorated with inlaid stars of sycamore and ebony. Note the carved beaded details on the skirt’s rim. The legs are hand turned.
The base has 7 drawers and a planked molded pot board. The rack has 2 doors and 2 spice drawers.
