For a client we created a pair of Chinese Chippendale chairs based upon their love of a pair they admired in a 10 year old Sootheby’s Catalog. See image of the inspiration.
Unusual in their design, most unusual is the slant of the arms in the Chinese fashion. Note the bit of detail leaf carving around the crown of the back.
