Our updated version of the traditional Windsor chair, utilizing all the traditional construction of the famed chair:
A Windsor chair is built with a solid wooden seat into which the chair-back and legs are pushed into drilled holes. In standard chairs the back legs and uprights are continuous. The seats of Windsor chairs were carved into a shallow dish or saddle shape for comfort. Traditionally, the legs and uprights were usually turned on a pole lathe. The back and sometimes are formed from steam bent pieces of wood.
Everyone expects a Windsor chair to be comfortable and this one exceeds those expectations.
