Standing Chest of Drawers

This is an example of how the use of a timber can change a piece from so-so to one of great beauty. The solid burr oak used here lifts the chest from out of the ordinary. The inlaid compass is of boxwood and ebony.

An adaption of an earlier chest on stand, this chest has 2 drawers over one. The chest is supported on turned Legs with H-stretcher.
