This credenza was designed and crafted to match our client’s antique desk. We were able to find and use figured French walnut that matched the desk’s timber.
The credenza appears to have four drawers at each end with a 2 door cupboard in the center. Each bank of 4 drawers actually consists of 2 pencil drawers over a file drawer, providing the client with ample and appropriate storage. Adjustable shelving is behind the two doors with lovely carved detail, copied from the original
The original hardware was used to create moulds that provided brass hardware matching those of the original.
